Erma Amanda Mary (née Gray) Williamson

Erma Amanda Mary (née Gray) Williamson passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels, on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017. Erma was in her 100th year.

Erma was the beloved wife of the late Jim (1996) for nearly 55 years and doting mother of Arlene (Ben) van den Akker and June Williamson. She was the loving mother-in-law of Diane Williamson, adoring grandma of Amy (Tom), Brent (Heather), Amanda (Matt), Melissa and Michael (Nicole) and loving great-grandmother of Logan, Avery, Hunter, Korbin, Amberle, Kahlen, Gabriella, Luca, Nathan and Penelope. Erma was the sister of Lula McDougall and sister-in-law of Marjorie Gray. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Erma was predeceased by her son Keith (2010), sister Margaret Thompson, brothers-in-law Ivan Thompson and Clarence McDougall, brother George Gray and sister-in-law Katie (Alvin) Stimore.

Friends and family were received at Riverside Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 20. The funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 21. Interment was at Brussels Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Community of Christ or the Alzheimer Society of Huron County would be appreciated. Cards of sympathy may be forwarded to Box 340, Brussels.
