Enid (Brigham) MacDonald

Enid (Brigham) MacDonald of Blyth passed away, surrounded by her family, at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015. She was in her 87th year.
Enid was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Lloyd MacDonald (1975) and the late Ben Arnold (1994). She was the loving mother and mother-in-law of Bev MacDonald and Dr. Peter Schmalz, Walkerton; Brian and Karen MacDonald, Seaforth; Barry and Cindy MacDonald, Scott and Kathy MacDonald, Lynn and Darryl Chalmers and Lisa and Kurt Whitfield, all of Blyth. She was cherished by her grandchildren Kriss (Jodi) Snell, Craig Snell, Nikki (William) Culbert, Mark (Leanne) MacDonald, Kevin (Amanda) MacDonald, Josie and Jenny MacDonald, Kelly and Kennan MacDonald, Sadie, MacKenzie, Logan and Rylee Chalmers, Kendall and Collin Whitfield and 12 great-grandchildren. Enid is survived by her sisters-in-law Betty Hesselwood and Joann MacDonald. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Enid was predeceased by her sister Isabel Holland, three brothers-in-law and one grandson Kent Allan Snell.
Friends and family were invited to a funeral service at the Blyth United Church on Wednesday, Dec. 9 with visitation two hours prior, beginning at noon. Rev. Gary Clark officiated. Interment was in Blyth Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Blyth United Church will be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
