Elsie Irene Walsh
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Irene (Cook) Walsh on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton. She was in her 98th year.
Elsie has gone to her heavenly home to be with her beloved husband Jim Walsh (2013). She was the loving mother of the late Murray Walsh (1993), and she leaves behind son Don Walsh and wife Brenda, Goderich and daughter-in-law Donna Walsh (Doug), Blyth.
She will also be missed by her beloved grandchildren Brad Walsh (Victoria), Sandra (Hank) Bos, and Michael Walsh (Ingo). She was a loving great-grandma to Brookelynn, Bailey, and Abigail Bos. Elsie will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Florence McArter, Listowel; Muriel Bosman (Owen), Sault Ste. Marie; Mildred Paton, Ingersoll, and Evelyn Smith, Regina, Saskatchewan.
Elsie was predeceased by her parents George and Ivy Cook; brothers Norman Cook (Lorna), Charlie Cook (Doreen), Wes Cook and sisters Lois Green (Ray), Nora Huskinson (Ben), and Annie Cook; sisters-in-law Edna Pepper (Norman); Eileen Niergarth (Clare); brothers-in-law Clifford Walsh (Marie); Ben Walsh (Audrey) and Lloyd Walsh. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and special cousin Dorothy Kerr (Hamilton).
A service to celebrate Elsie’s life was held at Blyth Union Cemetery Blyth on Friday, Sept. 24. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton.
