Ella Jeanette Hallman

Ella Jeanetta Hallman passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018. She was 89.

Jeanetta was born on Oct. 31, 1928 in East Wawanosh Twp., the only daughter of the late Gordon and Ella (Youngblut) Snell.

Ella was the beloved wife of the late Delton Hallman (2012), the dear sister-in-law of Delta Hallman and Mabel Stott and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Besides her parents, Jeanetta was predeceased by her brothers NS sisters-in-law Ernest (2008) and Anna (2014), Alvin (2005) and Eugene (2001), Jasper (2010) and Eva (2015) and Donald (2007) and Shirley (1995).

Jeanetta loved music, flowers, loved to bake and babysitting her nieces and nephews. She went to the Westfield School and she also attended the Westfield Church until she married. Jeanetta and Delton attended the Hespeler Missionary Church and they taught a Sunday school class. Jeanetta was a faithful member of Beacon Baptist Church since 2002.

Jeanetta’s family welcomed friends and family at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, Cambridge on Sunday, Jan. 21. The funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 22. Pastor Chris Wyatt officiated. Interment will be at Wanner Mennonite Cemetery in the spring.
