Elgin Reginald Hogg

Mr. Elgin Reginald Hogg of Wingham, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018. He was in his 83rd year.

Elgin was the husband of the late Marie (Schneller) Hogg, who predeceased him in 1995 and dear father of Sandra Dorsch, Belgrave; Shirley and Tom Kreller, St. Jacobs and Douglas and Katy Hogg, Durham. He was the cherished grandfather of Amanda and Kelly White, Melinda Dorsch and Nick Cook, Jesse, Cody and Danielle Hogg and Teresa and Chris Kreller and great-grandfather of Alexis, Connor, Kiera, Rowan, Keagan and Bryson. 

Elgin will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Ann Hogg and nephews Ken Hogg (Ange) and Kevin Hogg (Stacy). He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Pearl (Dawson) Hogg and brothers Kenneth and Raymond Hogg.

Visitation was held at the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, on Friday, Feb. 2. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Feb. 3. Brian Hymers and Denise Walker officiated. Interment will take place in the spring at Wingham Cemetery.
