Eleanor Ward

Eleanor Ward formerly of Wingham, passed away at New Horizons Tower, Toronto on Friday, March 27, 2020. She was 83.

 

Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late James Ward, who predeceased her on Jan. 26, 1978. She was the dear mother of Ian (Nicky) and Beth (Jesse), both of Toronto and the beloved grandmother of Aiden, Annie, Abigail, Meredith and Madison. Eleanor will be remembered by many relatives and her community of friends in Wingham and around the world whom she loved with an open heart and generous spirit. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Lavenia and Wilfrid Beaton, infant son Jamie and sister Evelyn.

A memorial service for Eleanor will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Wingham Riverside Park (by the Libro Pavilion, off Josephine Street) at 1 p.m. Rev. Larry Skinner will officiate.
