Douglas John Skinn

Doug Skinn of Wingham passed away at Braemar Nursing Home on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was 79 years old.

 

Doug was the devoted husband of Marie (Adams) Skinn and the loving dad of Steve and Mary Skinn, Wingham and Gary and Crystal Skinn, Orangeville. He was the cherished grandpa of Nathan (Laura), Jeanna (Drew), Kristen, Lennon and Lily and the dear brother and brother-in-law of Glenn and Eileen Skinn, Mary Ann and Alan Weishar, Barbara and Denis Heller, Ken Skinn, Brian and Cathy Skinn, Bruce and Jayne Skinn, Gerald and Roseanne Skinn, Paul and Cindy Skinn and Cathy and Larry Machan. 

 

Doug will be lovingly remembered by Marie’s family, as well as his many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Jean (Wheeler) Skinn, brothers Joseph in infancy and Bill Skinn.

 

Visitation took place on Wednesday, April 21 at the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 22.

 

Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
