Doug and Marian Fischer

Doug and Marian Fischer passed away at their residence, on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  

Doug and Marian were the loving parents of Dave and Sally Fischer, Ellershouse, Nova Scotia; Cathy and Don Dunbar, RR 1, Belgrave; Wayne Fischer and Leah Heinisch, Plattsville; Gail Fischer, RR 1, Bluevale and Angela Fischer-Dickison and Nathan O’Neil, Blyth. They were the dear grandparents of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Doug and Marian will be lovingly remembered by their brothers and sisters and their families, Lorretta and Ron MacFarlane, Mary Templeman, Bob and Willa Harris, Ray and Connie Harris, Jean Furness, Laverne Harris and Tom Harris. They were predeceased by Marian’s brother Bert Harris, sisters June Harris and Susan Dillon and Doug’s brother-in-law Bob Templeman.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, April 5 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m.                                                   Memorial services will be held at the Wingham Knights of Columbus Centre on Friday, April 6 at 11 a.m. 

Memorial donations to Howick Minor Hockey Association or Maitland River Elementary School – Building Bridges Fundraiser would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
