Dorothy Jean (Derby) Tamblyn
Mrs. Dorothy Jean Tamblyn (nee Derby) of Clinton, passed away at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton on Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was 85.
Dorothy was born in White Sands, Prince Edward Island on Sept. 9, 1929. She married Jack Tamblyn on Dec. 29, 1962 and they then made their home on his family farm in Hullett Township. They were married for 46 years.
Dorothy is survived by son Kevin, daughter Suzanne Montgomery (Grant), brother William, sister June Lund (Erroll), sister-in-law Margaret Chrysler, grandchildren Derek, Allison and Patrick and other family and friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Jack, siblings Ralph and Morris, brother-in-law Robert and sister-in-law Connie.
Friends were received prior to the funeral service at Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton, on Wednesday, April 29. Interment was in Blyth Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson Society of Canada or any charitable donation of one’s choice.
