Donna Flynn
Donna Flynn passed away peacefully at her home on the farm at RR 1, Londesborough, as was her wish, on Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was in her 88th year.
Donna was the beloved wife of the late Hugh Flynn. She was born on July 14, 1931 in Hibbert Twp., Ontario.
Donna’s greatest love was her passion for farming especially her dairy cows, followed by the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.
She was the cherished mother of Terry and Steve Clark, Hillsburgh; Joe and Jo Ann Flynn, RR 3, Clinton; Dawn Graham and her friend Steve Chesney, RR 1, Londesborough and Norris and Becky Flynn, Clinton. Donna was the loving grandmother of Jeff Clark, Greg Clark, Angelissa Gibbons, Cougar Flynn, Dr. Candi Flynn and Jason Veenstra, Hugh Flynn, Connor Flynn, Mandy Graham, Casey Graham and Grayden, Graysen, Graynger and Brynlee Flynn. She was the great-grandmother of Austin and Avery Clark, Nathan and Jordyn Clark and Brody and Krya Gibbons.
Donna will be remembered by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Squire, Hazel Haines, Donelda Flynn, Marie Flynn, Frances Butt, Rita and Gene Powell and by her brother-in-law Boyd Hartwick. She was predeceased by her son James (2013), parents Harry (Joseph Henry) and Emma Norris, and siblings Ray and Leita Norris, Noni and Harvey Jacobi, Jack Norris, Beryl and Bill Storey, Hugh and Annie Norris, Margaret (Dolly) and John MacDougald, Hazel and Don McLeod, Lila and Orville Storey, Harry Norris, Dorothy and Ray Davis, Celia Hartwick, Robert Norris, and infant brother James Alvin Norris. Donna is also predeceased by in-laws John Flynn, Bill Flynn, Chuck and Jean Shelton, Wilfred Haines, Murray Butt, and Dorothy and Ken Dupee.
Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 1 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment is at Clinton Cemetery.
