Donald Rae Gibson

On April 4, 2018 after a brief illness, Donald Rae Gibson of Brussels, formerly of Monkton, passed away at the Listowel Memorial Hospital in his 83rd year.

Loving husband to Donna (McLean) for 60 years, Donald was the father of Dana and Dennis Speer of Peterborough and Duane and Tammy Gibson of Brussels.

He was the adored Buppa of Danielle and Dave Lewis, Deborah Speer, Kyle Gibson and fiancée Jenna and Shane Gibson and the great-grand Buppa of Dawson and Daxton Lewis.

Donald was the brother of Gwynne Brown and Sandy and Myrna Gibson and the brother-in-law of Murray and Mary McLean. 

Donald was predeceased by in-laws Jack Brown and Marilyn and Ken Collier.

A private family service will be held as per Don’s wishes. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
