Donald Milton "Dooley" Plunkett

Donald Milton Plunkett of Auburn, passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022. He was in his 94th year. 

 

Donald was the dear father and father-in-law of Andy and Carolynne Thompson, London; Betty and Barry Powley, Chilliwack, British Columbia; Jim and Sheila Thompson, Seaforth; Stephen and Cindy Plunkett, David and Julie Plunkett, all of Blyth and Darryl and Susan Plunkett, Auburn. He will be lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Jewell Plunkett. 

 

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Elizabeth Plunkett, brothers Andy and Gordon Plunkett, son William Thompson and grandson Kenny Plunkett.

 

At Donald's request, cremation has taken place. Spring interment of ashes will take place at Balls Cemetery, Hullett Twp. A public celebration of life service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109, Goderich on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 1 - 3 p.m. 
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated.
