Dianne was the beloved wife of Dennis for an amazing 28 years. She is survived by her parents Ken and Anne Williamson, and her mother-in-law Judy Gregory.
Dianne was the loving mother of Brandy and David Wilson, Morgan Gregory, Bryce Gregory and partner Nicole Bettles. She was the proud grandmother of Messer and Kaden Wilson. Dianne also is survived by her siblings Cathy and Harry Boyle, Jeff and Becky Williamson, Carol and Chuck Regele and her brothers and sisters-in-law Danny and Janice Gregory, Deb and Jeff Gowing, Donna and John Curran and Heather McMillan.
She will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Dianne was predeceased by her father-in-law Milne Gregory and her brothers John Williamson and Bob Williamson.
During Dianne’s personal battle with cancer, she fought hard while maintaining the most positive outlook. Even through the toughest days, she found opportunities to laugh and inspire. She frequently reminded each and every one of us to celebrate every moment, count our blessings, always say “I love you”, and never let your glass be empty.
Arrangements were entrusted to McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich. In keeping with Dianne’s wishes, a private family service took place on Monday, Nov. 1. A celebration of life was held at the Dungannon Agricultural Hall on Saturday, Nov. 13 to celebrate and honour such a special woman.
If so desired, donations in Dianne’s memory may be made to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation or OneCare Home and Community Support Services. Friends may sign the book of condolences at www.mccallumpalla.ca.
Let this not be an announcement of her death, but notice of a life well lived. We are all blessed beyond measure for knowing
Dianne and having her in our lives. Her beaming presence and contagious optimism will be deeply missed by everyone who has come to know her.
