Cornelia “Jenny” Vercruyssen née Ket

Cornelia “Jenny” Vercruyssen née Ket passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at her home.

 

The loving wife of the late Rene, Jenny was the mother of John of Tavistock, Evelyn and Richard of Kitchener, and Ron of Brussels and the grandmother of seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Danny.

 

Jenny was born in Amsterdam and immigrated to Canada with her sister in her 20s. Jenny was a personal support worker for 38 years and worked hard her entire life.  

 

She loved her family, pets and farm and had a smile that welcomed everyone. 

 

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at Brussels Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to One Care would be appreciated.
