'Citizen' presents Don Dodds with Citizen of the Year Award at Huron 4-H AGM

On Tuesday night at the Huron County 4-H Leaders’ Association’s annual general meeting at the Clinton Legion, long-time volunteer Don Dodds, left, received his 2024 Huron County Citizen of the Year Award from North Huron Publishing. Dodds has committed over 65 years to local 4-H and 70 years to the Huron County Plowing Match.

 

He acknowledged the work of his fellow volunteers along the way and noted that he wouldn’t have been able to have the impact he has without the support of his late wife Maja, who passed away in 2023.
