Brian Keith Rintoul

Brian Keith Rintoul of Wingham passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022. He was 72.

 

Brian was the devoted partner of Trudy Thomson and the cherished stepfather of Carol and John Witney, Angie and Bill Horst, Butch Foran and Lorene Schmidtke and Joy MacDonald and Rob Pollock. He was the loving grandpa of Jonathan and Ashley, Curtis, Shane, Ryan, Jenna, Justin, Jocelyn, Logan and Wade, and the great-grandpa of Kai and Mya. Brian was the dear brother and brother-in-law of Gayle and Brad Speiran, Barb Rintoul, Lila Rintoul, John and Clara Thomson, Bruce and Maureen Thomson, Bill and Jan Thomson, and Sandra Thomson. 

 

Brian will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Doreen (Purdon) Rintoul, brothers Gary and Lee Rintoul, brother-in-law Rae Thomson, sister-in-law Pat Thomson, nephew Kevin Rintoul and niece Debbie Smuck. 

 

Visitation took place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, Jan. 13. A private funeral service was held on Jan. 14 in the funeral home chapel. A livestream of the funeral is available on the funeral home’s website. Interment will take place in the spring at Wingham Cemetery.
