Bonnie "Dianne" Machan
Bonnie "Dianne" Machan of Brussels, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Nov. 12, 2018. She was in her 67th year.
Dianne was the beloved wife of James Alton for 25 years; loving mom of Tracey (Steve) Eckert and the proud nana of Kelsey (Austin), Kassidy (Colton), Karissa (Ryan) and Tyler (Delayna).
Dianne was the sister of Shirley (George) Wheeler, Lloyd (Marion) Machan, Joan (Bob) Barwick, Maxine (Bill) Robinson, Carman (Sandra) Machan, Gail (John) Currie, Darlene Becker, Dale (Ruth) Machan, Gord (Jane) Machan, Anne (Jack) Vincent, Pat (Ken) Mathers and Lawrence Machan and sister-in-law of Bob Alton and Brian (Paula) Alton.
Dianne was predeceased by brothers Clarence, Doug and Barry and brother-in-law Wayne Becker. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Dianne loved her grandkids and was a devoted mother, sports enthusiast, gardener and liked to have an immaculate home. Dianne liked to travel to Florida and do her preserves as well as feed the family.
Friends and family were received at the Brussels Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday, Nov. 17 for a casual time of fellowship and celebration of Dianne’s life.
