Blyth Kids Club says goodbye to summer with end-of-summer party

All of the fans of the highly-influential and revered glam rock trailblazers T.Rex that showed up to the Blyth Kids Club’s end of summer party at Blyth Lions Park last Friday night may have gotten something a little different than what they expected upon being told that T.Rex was on stage.

 

Nevertheless, Blyth’s Joe Gahan, right, co-founder of the Kids Club, and his band The Lucky Charms kept toes tapping over the course of the night, which included inflatables, food, a silent auction, a foam party and more as one last gasp before the young people among us return to classes at schools throughout the county and across the province.     (John Stephenson photo)
