Betty MacDonald

Betty MacDonald of Wingham, passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Friday, March 30, 2018. She was in her 92nd year.

Betty was the loving wife of the late Alex MacDonald who predeceased her in 1999. She was the cherished mother of Hugh and Bonnie MacDonald, Don and Claire MacDonald, Sandra and Davey Edgar, Raymond and Susan MacDonald, Carol and Cam Edgar, the late Bonnie Daigle and Bob Daigle, Greg MacDonald, Luanne and Bill Kerr, Stewart MacDonald, Allen MacDonald, Cindy and Paul Skinn, the late Christine (MacDonald) Small and Sally and Harold Martin. Betty was the dear grandmother of 31 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and sister of Lorraine Maase. Betty will be lovingly remembered by Alex’s family. 

She was predeceased by her grandson Jason Edgar, granddaughter Tara MacDonald, great-granddaughter Elle Milton, granddaughter-in-law Cindy MacDonald, sister Helen and brothers Willis, Johnny and Melvin.

Visitation  will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, April 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wingham on Sunday, April 8 at 2 p.m.  

Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.
