Barbara Fern (née Clark) Sholdice

Barbara Fern (née Clark) Sholdice of Goderich,  passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 after multiple health problems. 

Barb was the youngest of 10 children of Sam and Katie Clark of Mitchell, ON. 

Born April 10, 1941, Barb attended Mitchell District High School, where she met Gary Sholdice of Brodhagen. They were married May 14, 1960 and had three children: Paul, Goderich; Mark (Debbie), Clinton and Judy Kemp (Doug), Wingham. They have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

Barb and Gary moved many times during their married life. Over the years Barb was in the Kinette Club and enjoyed playing bridge. She is survived by her husband Gary and sister Mary Mulford, Stratford. 

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Lakeshore United Church, 56 North St., Goderich. Cremation has taken place.  Memorial donations to Lakeshore United Church, are gratefully acknowledged and may be arranged through McCallum & Palla Funeral Home.
