Allan Bridge

Allan Bridge, Wingham, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 12.  He was 79.

The beloved husband of Marilyn (Fear) Bridge of Wingham, Allan was the dear father of Sharon Shobbrook, Sheila and Terry Armstrong, Lyle and Audrey Bridge, Lynne and Don Armstrong, Brad and Diane Shobbrook, Susan Bridge and Don Wheatley, Steven Bridge and Krista and Jay Marston. He was the dear grandfather of 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

He was the brother of Glenn Bridge and brother-in-law of Karen Bridge, Russell Fear and Verna Edgar, Phyllis Biggin and Denis Jewitt, Wayne and Barb Fear, Larry 

and Linda Fear and Bruce and Joyce Fear.

Allan was predeceased by his parents George and Jean Bridge, son Perry Bridge, brothers Harold and Ben Bridge, sister-in-law Jean Bridge, daughter-in-law Cathy Bridge and son-in-law Marvin Fulmek.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 180, Wingham, followed by a visitation and reception. Rev. Richard Hall will officiate. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Wingham Sportsman’s Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
